Designed by Crank Queens Founder and mountain biker, Erica Davis, Stronger Together is a group program for women who are ready to:

  • Dial in nutrition

  • Better understand how to improve sleep/recovery

  • Plus, get ready to build a community of women around you so you have those riding buddies ready to get out on the trails next spring.

Comprehensive Strength Training Program

Monthly In-Person Strength Training Classes

Let’s build community and build strength together this winter! Whether you are totally new to strength training OR a seasoned gym rat, our program will challenge you and help you build strength. Learn from certified personal trainer, avid mountain biker, and all around amazing gal, Grace Alford. Grace is the owner of Trail Mix Training, and she loves helping mountain bikers get stronger, ride faster, reduce the risk of injury, and build confidence through her programs that are specialized to target the muscles we use the most on the bike.

Convenient At Home Training Plans + Training App

To keep the stoke going, each participant will also gain access to at home training plans and an app that will guide you through weekly workouts. These programs can be done at home or the gym at your own pace. Track you progress and see that strength grow!

1:1 Monthly Consult with a Certified Professional Trainer

Additionally, each participant will get one 1:1 consult per month via Voxer with Grace to support your strength training goals and progress. If you have questions about your strength training plan or simply want some input from an expert, check in with Grace once a month to stay on track and get the most out of this program.

Monthly Spin Classes

Build power and endurance on the bike through spin classes targeted to increase your strength as a mountain biker. Program participants will have access to one spin class per month.

A Comprehensive Approach to Nutrition guided by Erica

1:1 Nutrition Consult

Learn how to fuel your mountain biking adventures through nutrition coaching that fits your lifestyle and goals. This 30 minute consult will build the foundation for dialing in your nutrition through this program. Check in on your progress throughout the program with a weekly check-in with Erica.

Customized Nutrition Plan

Struggle with what to eat to build strength? Ready to simplify your nutrition and take the guess work out of it? Receive a customized nutrition guide, complete with grocery shopping guides, meal planning tips, portion guides, and more.

Cooking Class + Meal Planning Tutorial

Work with a local chef/athlete who will teach us tips and tricks for weekly meal planning AND we’ll get a chance to cook some meals together. Boost your meal prep and cooking skills.

Accountability to your goals

Feel like you start strong but then find it hard to stay on track in the winter? This program will help you stay on track with regular weekly accountability check-ins with Erica. All participants get an opportunity to check-in with the group at our monthly group learning sessions + via the Voxer group chat.

Meet Erica

I started as a total beginner mountain biker in the spring of 2018. Although I’ve always been a fairly active adult, I’d lost focus on my fitness with the busyness of life. Riding 6 miles was a BIG accomplishment that first summer.

Eight mountain bikes and five years later, I now lead the fastest growing mountain biking community in SW Idaho with over 100 members and growing. I compete in endurance MTB races, I train other athletes, and I help women around the US start their own MTB communities.

Never did I imagine on that first ride that I would go from 6 miles being exhausting to riding 80+ miles in one day during an endurance MTB race where I placed 1st!

All this while raising a family, leading organizations, and volunteering as a coach for student athletes. (And finding time to read a good book here and there every once in a while…)

A lot of women ask me how I do it. How do I find time to ride with everything on my plate?

The truth? I’ve had to learn to prioritize my health and prioritize myself.

  • Whether you are new to mountain biking or a seasoned rider, our program will help you challenge yourself, build strength, understand how to fuel your body for all your outdoor adventures, and prioritize yourself. No experience required! We provide all the tools you need for success.

  • Great! This is a perfect jump start for you. Build your strength this winter through this program and then join us in the spring for a Beginner Skills Clinic to get started.

  • No, this program does not involve skills clinics. We will host programs in the spring and summer that include skills clinics. If you are part of this program, you will have first access to register!

  • Yes, the program commitment is 5 months, November through March. This program is for women who are ready to prioritize their health goals. It is not a drop in program. Change happens in community and throughout these 5 months you will also be building connection and community with other women who are working on their goals. If you miss a session, that’s OK. Just remember, you get out of it what you put into it!

  • Be prepared to dedicate at minimum 3 hours/month to this program. That includes participating in a monthly events (2 hrs) and a monthly live Q&A session (1 hr). The more you invest - the more you will get out of this.

  • Nope! But members DO get a discount!

  • This program runs for 5 months. Exact event dates/times and Q&A times will be scheduled to start in November. Strength training live sessions will be hosted on weekdays in Boise in the evenings after work. Location/exact time TBD. See full program agreement for terms.

  • In-person events will happen in the evenings after work. Q+A Calls will be hosted on Friday mornings at 7am MT.

  • The program investment is $299/month for 5 months. Enroll in the Full Send option ($379/month) and receive weekly 1:1 coaching check-ins with Erica via Voxer, plus a ticket to our half-day retreat this winter in Boise.
