The time is NOW! That is exactly why we are launching Back on the Bike. A program designed by Crank Queens Founder, mountain biker, and certified wellness coach, Erica Davis.

For Erica, cycling is much more than what you do ON the bike. It’s also about what you do off the bike for your success. Nutrition, sleep and recovery, finding time to ride with a busy schedule, mindset, building confidence, and learning how to show up for yourself are all key components.

The time is now! Total program investment is only $89/month for 5 months. This includes a customized sustainment plan to support you as you transition into the winter months to stay consistent with your mountain biking goals.

Meet Erica

I started as a total beginner mountain biker in the spring of 2018. Although I’ve always been a fairly active adult, I’d lost focus on my fitness with the busyness of life. Riding 6 miles was a BIG accomplishment that first summer.

Eight mountain bikes and five years later, I now lead the fastest growing mountain biking community in SW Idaho with over 80 members and growing. I compete in endurance MTB races, I train other athletes, and I help women around the US start their own MTB communities.

Never did I imagine on that first ride that I would go from 6 miles being exhausting to riding 80+ miles in one day during an endurance MTB race where I placed 1st!

All this while raising a family, leading organizations, and volunteering as a coach for student athletes. (And finding time to read a good book here and there every once in a while…)

A lot of women ask me how I do it. How do I find time to ride with everything on my plate?

The truth? I’ve had to learn to prioritize my health and prioritize myself.

 FAQs

  • This program is for women who have previous riding experience but are looking to rebuild their confidence and fitness on the bike. OR women who have recently entered the sport, have some basic skills, and want a supportive community to keep on growing and riding! If you are ready to improve as a mountain biker, this program is for you.

  • This program is for women who have a basic level of experience riding on the trails. We are happy to connect you with other resources to learn HOW to moutain bike.

  • No, this program does not involve skills clinics. While we will definitely discuss and spend time practicing our skills, the focus is on learning how to get more time on the bike in order to improve.

  • Yes, the program commitment is 5 months, June through October. This program is for women who are ready to prioritize getting back to mountain biking. It is not a drop in program. Change happens in community and throughout these 5 months you will also be building connection and community with other women who are working on their goals. If you miss a ride or a Q&A session, that’s OK. Just remember, you get out of it what you put into it!

  • Be prepared to dedicate at minimum 3 hours/month to this program. That includes participating in a monthly group ride (2 hrs) and a monthly live Q&A session (1 hr). The more you invest - the more you will get out of this.

  • Nope! You need to be comfortable riding on the trails. This is an ALL levels program.

  • Currently only accepting Crank Queens members for this program due to limited capacity.

  • This first round starts starts June 1st and runs for 5 months. Exact rides dates/times and Q&A times will be scheduled to start in mid June. Read the full program agreement and terms here.

  • Group rides will be scheduled with input from participants once we have at least 6 women signed up, so register early to give input on ride dates and locations!
