Learn the "body English" of pumping, a riding technique that generates speed without pedaling. This skill will help you hold your momentum on trails with small rollers (like Bucktail) and makes every ride more playful and fun. We'll break down the movement with drills in a grassy field, then progress to the small and regular-sized pump tracks to put it to use.
What to bring/wear: Regular riding attire and half-shell helmet is fine, though full-face helmets are not inappropriate. Flat pedals and knee/elbow pads are recommended but not imperative. Bring water and a snack.
